Interview with Randy Buresh, founder and owner of Oregon’s
Wild Harvest, an herbal supplement company. A discussion of
how to use herbs, in what doses, and the uses of several
unusual herbs.
Randy Buresh is the co-owner of Oregon’s Wild Harvest in
Sandy, Oregon. The farmland is certified organic by Oregon
Tilth and produces fresh and bulk herbs for the herbal
industry, as well as wholesale and retail medicinal
products, alcohol extracts, and encapsulated herbs. Mr.
Buresh has a very active background, graduating from
University of Missouri business college in 1970, then moving
to California. After living there, he returned to the
Midwest and received a degree as an R.N. which led to
working in a hospital surgery department and later, with a
general practitioner in southern Missouri. Frustrated with
all of the unnecessary surgeries performed in allopathic
medicine, as well as all of the side effects of superfluous
pharmaceuticals, Mr. Buresh really began to expand his
kinship with herbs. |
